Your AI receptionist now books appointments in your calendar

Connect Cal.com and your VeyCall agent checks your real availability and books the appointment during the call, straight into your Google, Outlook or Apple calendar.

Until now, when a customer asked for an appointment, your VeyCall agent took the request and your team confirmed it later. That works, but every request waiting for a callback is a customer who might book elsewhere. Now, if you use a calendar, your agent can book the appointment itself, while the customer is still on the line.

What the conversation sounds like

Customer: Hi, I'd like a cleaning tomorrow.
Agent: Let me check tomorrow. I have 10:00 or 2:30 pm. Which suits you?
Customer: 10 is perfect.
Agent: Could I have your name and email for the confirmation? … So that's tomorrow at 10:00 for a cleaning. It's booked, you'll get a confirmation email.

The agent only offers slots that are really free in your calendar, and only says "booked" once the booking went through. If your calendar can't be reached, it falls back to taking the request so your team can confirm.

Why Cal.com

Cal.com is a free scheduling tool that connects to the calendar you already use: Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar. It knows your hours, your breaks and the length of each type of appointment, and it sends the confirmation and reminder emails. Your agent books through it, so appointments land in your calendar like any other.

Set it up in five minutes

  1. Create a free account on cal.com and connect your calendar.
  2. Create an appointment type, for example "Consultation, 30 minutes", with your opening hours.
  3. In Cal.com, open Settings › Developer › API keys and create a key.
  4. In VeyCall, open Integrations › Cal.com, paste the key and choose the appointment type. The next free slots appear, exactly as your agents will see them.

What you see in VeyCall

  • The lead shows Booked appointment with the date and time, instead of a request.
  • Your alert (email, phone notification or Telegram) says the appointment is booked.
  • It works on calls from your website, the call link and Telegram, including voice notes.

Appointment booking is included from the Business plan. The steps are in the documentation.
